eNeuron to share perspectives on the future of energy communities at its final conference
A hybrid conference showcasing insight, use cases, and future opportunities for sustainable energy communities in Europe.
The eNeuron project, a pivotal initiative in advancing sustainable and resilient energy communities across Europe, will host its final event on 21 January, 2025, from 10:00 to 13:30 CET. The hybrid conference will be held both in person at the Euregio Tyrol-South Tyrol headquarters (45-47 Rue de Pascale, Brussels) and online.
This event will spotlight eNeuron's achievements, providing a platform for stakeholders to exchange insights and discuss the future of energy communities in Europe.
Agenda highlights:
· Welcome address: Dr. Maria Valenti, eNeuron Project Coordinator, ENEA
· Energy communities overview: Insights from Dr. Christina Papadimitriou (Eindhoven University of Technology) and Mr. Jose Oliveira (ENEIDA)
· Roundtable discussion: Experts from academia, industry, and energy organisations—including Dr. Sergio Olivero, Prof. Marialaura Di Somma, Ms. Selene Liverani, and representatives from sister projects—will share their vision for the future of energy communities and their role in shaping European energy policy. The discussion will be moderated by Dr. Venizelos Efthymiou, FOSS Research Centre of the University of Cyprus.
Attendees will have the chance to network with leading professionals and gain valuable insights into the latest trends and strategies in the energy sector. Complimentary refreshments and a light lunch will be provided.
